I got back in the saddle this week and ran 3 miles on Sunday, 5 miles today, and I'll do 8 miles this weekend for a total of 16 miles in a week. Not bad after logging a whopping 13 miles in the previous month!
I know Jay, Dan and Carol all want me to schedule a race ASAP, but with the big Ragnar Relay coming up on 8/22, I'm probably going to focus on training for that first, and if a local 10K pops up that I want to run, I'll sign up. I doubt I can be ready for the tri in 3 weeks since I haven't been in any form of water since last September, nor have I been on my bike since then!
So, it's RUN, RUN, RUN for me. Just call me Forrest Gump.
By the way, does anybody have any advice on how to train for a big hill like THIS ONE that I have to run for about 2 miles in Leg 14 of the Ragnar Relay??? (I guess it's about a 4% grade, so it may not be THAT bad, but there are no LONG hills like it around here that I have EASY access to, and 2 miles is a long way to run up a 4% grade!)

Collin, I wasn't necessarily encouraging you to sign up for a race, what I had in mind more was a gentlemen's bet of some sort to work out. My friend Rachel and I once made a bet that we'd each workout 4x/week. Any week we didn't do it, we owed the other $10.
Anyway, good on ya for getting at it again. I'm now sufficiently shamed to get off my ass. ;)
Do you have access to a treadmill? Glad you are back in business!
If you don't have access to a treadmill, how about running stairs? It's not quite the same muscle movement, but might be better than no hill training.
