Updating is easier when I keep up with my Twitter updates!
On Saturday I was in LaCrosse visiting my sister, her family, and my parents, and I ran 8 miles on the Great River State Trail, checking out my first leg (leg 2) for the upcoming Great River Ragnar Relay. That same day, I did two open water swims totaling about 600 yards, because if I'm going to do the Devil's Challenge Triathlon in September I really need to start swimming and biking! It felt great to swim with my wetsuit without the pressure of a race. That's the first time I really got a feel for it, and I REALLY liked it.
Now I need to get used to my new bike shoes and Speedplay pedals, since they've been on the bike for 2 weeks and I still haven't been out for a ride!
I ran a quick 2 miles tonight. I don't have my plan in front of me, but I think I'm planning 2 more runs this week of 5-6 miles and 8-10 miles. Then another week of the same next week, maybe with an extra mile for runs 2 & 3. Then I'll take it pretty easy the week of Ragnar so I can run on "fresh" legs.

The HILLS are calling you!!! Get on that bike. You'll love the pedals. They give you some float and really help with your knees.
Biking is fun!!!
PS: When I bike, I look around, enjoy the scenery, and wave to people :-)
