It was cold and raining last night, so I opted to run on the treadmill at the Y. I was still hurting pretty bad after my 18 mile run on Sunday... So bad that I gave it up after only 5 miles at an easy pace. The outside of my lower left leg has really been bothering me (feels like a ligament), and it only got worse the longer I ran.
So, now I'm on a break for about a week. Tomorrow, I'm having all 4 wisdom teeth pulled, so there's no way I'll be running this weekend. That's OK, because this was a step-back week anyway. My next run will probably be next Tuesday or Wednesday, and then I really need to hit it hard for a few weeks before my taper. If I'm feeling up to it on Saturday or Sunday, I may try to get a few miles in on the stationary bike. We'll see...
