Not Much Going On

Ok, so I haven't posted anything in over 2 weeks. Sorry. There just hasn't been much to report.

I didn't run the half marathon this past weekend as I had planned. I was nowhere near ready for another one of those. Next year I'll get back into the long distance races and hope to do a full marathon at some point in 2008.

I haven't been on the bike or in the water since the day of the tri (9/15), but I've kept with the running. Of course, I've only logged 20 miles in the last 2 weeks, so I don't have much to brag about. I did get a 7 miler in this past Sunday, though, and I ran the entire time and felt great, so that's good I guess. With the cold weather coming, I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do. I'm not a big fan of the cold, but I don't really care for the treadmill either, so I have some decisions to make regarding my running this winter. I'll figure something out. I plan to use my stationary bike and my trainer, and the pool at the new YMCA should be open by the end of the month, so hopefully I can find a good swim coach and get better in the water. I have the most work to do in that area. I will admit that I miss my new wetsuit. I only got to wear it once, and I see it in my closet every day and dream about getting out in the open water again.
