I'm planning to run the Madison Half Marathon in May and will try to track my progress here. I haven't put the running shoes on since October, shortly after the Maple Leaf 5 mile run I did in LaCrosse, so the plan is to spend this month on the bike getting my legs and lungs ready to run starting in February.
I hope to get a few 5K races in before the marathon as well, but haven't looked at the local race schedule for this spring yet. I'm also considering trying some sprint triathlons this summer, but before I can even consider that I need to find a place to swim and I need to actually get on my bike and ride it. (I'll be using the stationary bike this month due to the winter weather in Wisconsin.)
