The Devil's Challenge Triathlon is tomorrow morning, and since we'll be having our first frost tonight and the forecast for 8am tomorrow is sunny and a balmy 38 degrees, plus the water is up on Devil's Lake so you can't touch bottom the whole way this year, I went out today and bought my first wetsuit! It's a Quintana Roo Ultrafull and it's FAST! Of course, in my hands it's not so fast. It took me about 10-15 minutes to get it on in the store, and I lost about 2 pounds of sweat in the process. Then it took me another 10-15 minutes to get it off. My T1 time could be HUGE tomorrow. I practiced with the suit a few times when I got it home, so hopefully I can pull off a miracle tomorrow. At least now I have some confidence that I won't sink during the swim.
I'm as ready as I can be. I'm shooting for under 2 hours, which, from talking to my sister, sounds like it would be a VERY GOOD TIME for me in my first tri on this course. She did her first on this course in around 1:58, so realistically, I'm hoping to cross the finish line by Monday.

We were thinking about you this morning when it was 35 degrees and we were about to start the half mary. It was cold. Let us know how you did.
You just made it under 2 hours..good job.
